Linda Haynes began her professional career with the Granada Group where, after successive promotions, she progressed to a senior position within the personnel function of Granada TV and Video. After leaving Granada, Linda joined Dixons Colour Laboratories (part of Dixons Stores plc and now owned by Kodak) where in addition to her personnel responsibilities she also provided training and development support for the company. In 1990, Linda began working for Dairy Crest Limited where she attained the position of Personnel Director for Dairy Crest Dairies.
She joined Resources Limited in 1994 and over the next 8 years worked with its founder to grow the business into 3 separate successful companies. As Senior Consultant she provided a range of professional consultancy services to numerous organisations and developed a significant reputation for the delivery of practical and cost-effective Human Resources solutions to clients’ needs.
In 2003 Linda was asked to join Bennetts UK Limited, an independent insurance intermediary, for a specific period, as Human Resources Director. Her brief was to develop and implement a Human Resources function preparing the company for substantial growth through acquisition whilst at the same time complying with a new regulatory framework for the insurance industry.
Linda is co-author of the Policy Network’s legally compliant, model personnel policies and procedures and has been asked to speak at various branch meetings and Regional Conferences of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
